Track and adjust a running campaign

Machine translation, not yet reviewedThis page was translated by a model from the French version, which is authoritative. Read the French version.

01In a nutshell #sec_39a70d81

The wizard creates; Manage campaigns brings to life — start, suspend, resume, rearm, cancel, archive — and each action has a consequence that the screen states before performing it.

02Where #sec_d6d6faec

Campaigns › Manage campaigns. One line per campaign; columns are chosen via Columns, the view is reset via Reset view.

03Read a line #sec_d84b21c7

The most useful columns are not dates.

Certification rules. A Default workspace or Custom badge, and in the latter case the number of rules that differ from the workspace configuration. A custom campaign behaves differently from its neighbors: you need to know this before comparing.

Review settings. The strategy — All reviewers, Quorum · N% approvals, At least one reviewer — escalation levels, and what happens if no reviewer: Resource excluded, or a dedicated team.

Trigger. Launch on … for a dated campaign, As it comes for a continuous campaign, or a periodic cycle — Every N days, Every N weeks, Nth of the month, Every 12 months per resource on creation anniversary. Next dates says when the next wave will start.

Duration. The review window in days, and reminders: No reminder, 1 reminder, N reminders. A short window has only one reminder before closure.

Requests. On hover, the Distribution of requests: Certified, Revoked, Exceptions, To be processed. This is the column to watch each week.

Sign-off. Signed · rank N, or nothing. A closed campaign without sign-off has no attestation.

04The actions, and what they cost #sec_1f58db43

All are in the line menu. Each requires confirmation, and the confirmation text is the rule; it is repeated here.

Start now. The campaign will be launched immediately, ignoring the scheduled date or trigger. Useful for a planned campaign whose date is no longer awaited.

Suspend. Reminders, escalations, and deadlines of the current occurrence will be frozen until resumption, and no new cycle will be armed. Reviewers can still decide on pending requests. Suspending does not prohibit anything for reviewers; it stops time.

Resume. Deadlines are shifted by the exact duration of the pause: the wave resumes where it left off, it doesn't catch up. The start date, however, does not change — it is the one carried by the file.

Rearm. For a cycle that could not be built: the engine will rebuild and freeze the scope, and a new debit will be charged for this attempt. The order is placed and processed within a few minutes. Rearming costs credits; don't do it just to see.

Cancel. The only definitive action on a live campaign: ongoing waves will be stopped and undecided requests will be canceled: they will disappear from the reviewers' work queues. Decisions already made are kept. A canceled campaign cannot be resumed. If a cycle is in the process of arming, cancellation is refused until it finishes — otherwise it would be overwritten.

Archive. Reserved for a closed or canceled campaign: once archived, it will no longer be modifiable, but will remain accessible in read-only mode for historical purposes.

Duplicate. An exact copy, including its parameters, content, and configuration. The copy is not launched: you adjust it beforehand.

Modify. Reopens the wizard on this campaign. What can change depends on its state; the scope of an ongoing wave is fixed.

05Delete, and why it's rare #sec_20531d51

Delete is only possible for a campaign that has not started. As soon as it has collected a decision, the screen refuses: it constitutes a piece of compliance and can no longer be deleted: archive it to remove it from the active list.

When possible, deletion goes through Deleted items: the campaign remains restorable there until a date, then is purged. It is not a bottomless trash can; the date is stated at the time of the action.

06Estimate before arming #sec_93c9aa35

Estimating the cost builds the campaign's scope — the same calculation as the debit — and says how many credits a wave will consume. Do it before Start now and before Rearm: the counter on the banner does not go up.

08To remember #sec_dfc8edbb

Each button on this page writes a sentence before acting. Read it: it says what is frozen, what is lost, what is paid. And when the problem is not the campaign but a person, the next page is the right one.
