Your first review
01What you will do #sec_8d6e6fa7
Open your queue, understand what is being asked of you, and make your first decision. Allow ten minutes.
You don't need to install or configure anything. If you received a link to the REVIEW Center, someone has already designated you as a reviewer.
02What you see when you arrive #sec_59c8d8c3
The screen opens on My reviews. Three things are worth noting before clicking.
The counter, at the top. It announces the total and what remains: 2,471 requests · 2,452 awaiting decision. This is your real workload, not a flattering percentage.
The name of the campaign, in large letters, with a bookmark next to it. This is the applied policy — « Inactivity », « Membership »… — and it determines the question being asked of you.
The four status badges: IN PROGRESS, DELEGATED, ESCALATED, CONTESTED. They filter your queue. On the first day, only the first one concerns you.
03Two ways to look at the same thing #sec_5c8e5fe8
To the right of the counter, two tabs: By resources and By users.
It's the same queue, viewed from two angles. By resources lists the objects to be certified — an OneDrive space, a group, a site. By users groups by person.
Make a habit of choosing before you start: for an inactivity review, the by-resources view is faster; for a membership review, the by-users view avoids judging the same person ten times.
04Reading a line #sec_cf80f639
Each line bears the name of the resource, its type (ONEDRIVE, SHAREPOINT...), its address, and — by scrolling the table to the right — its status, decision, and compliance.
Two columns look alike but do not say the same thing:
- STATUS — where the request stands: In Progress, Completed
- DECISION — what you have attested: Compliant, Non-compliant, or No decision
A line can be Completed without you having decided anything, if the campaign closed before. The DECISION column is the one that commits you.
05Opening a decision #sec_2f80bb67
Click on the Certify icon — the circle with a checkmark — in the TOOLS column. A panel opens on the right.
It is organized into three blocks, and the order makes sense.
At the top, the policy's verdict. Non-compliant with the policy · 0/1 criterion met. This is what the machine has observed, not what you decide.
In the middle, the criteria. For each one, what was expected and what was observed:
Inactivity — Expected: one activity within the last 12 months · Observed:
last activity on 07/05/2024 · 27 months ago
This is the material for your judgment. You don't need to look for it elsewhere.
At the bottom, your decision. A sentence says what you are asked to attest — for example « You attest whether this resource should be kept despite its inactivity » — then two choices:
| Choice | What it means |
|---|---|
| Compliant | The resource is still being used — it must be kept |
| Non-compliant | Inactivity is confirmed — candidate for deactivation or deletion |
06Justify #sec_7a3da402
Below the two choices, a JUSTIFICATION field: Explain your decision.
Write something useful in it. This field is not a formality: it is the one an auditor will read in a year, and it is you who will be quoted. « OK » won't help anyone, including you.
A Suggest with RITA button proposes a formulation based on the context. It saves you time on words; it doesn't choose for you, and you can correct it entirely before saving.
07Save #sec_8e44386a
The Save decision button remains inactive until you have made a choice. Once clicked, the decision bears your name, the date, and your justification.
The CERTIFIED ON and CERTIFIED BY columns are filled. You have just made an accountable decision.
08What you need to know before continuing #sec_ea643eea
You cannot decide for someone else, and no one can decide for you. No administrator has a button to check for you. If you do not process your queue, it remains open and the report will indicate this.
A revocation does not remove access immediately. You attest; remediation follows its own path.
09To remember #sec_5cd89f42
One line, one panel, two choices, one justification sentence. The rest of the screen is used to find, filter, and group — this is the subject of the [next page](tuto-relecteur-file).
